Merry Christmas

Wishing everyone a great Christmas. It's not about the presents or the tree. It is all about His presence and what He did for you and me.

Lots of people stress about the holidays. Don't! When I grew up it was about getting together with family and enjoying each others company. I miss those days. They were simple and not commercialized. Our culture has taken the fun out of everything. It's all about spending, and it should not be that way. Today I am making cookies with my grandkids. This is something I've not done in a long time. Let's put fun back into our days. Like when we were younger. Do something you haven't done in awhile. Make homemade Christmas cards. People love this and it comes from the heart.

Tell stories of long ago and share with your kids of growing up. Make those memories. They are something money can't buy. Take pictures that are treasures for years to come. Hot apple cider sounds good to me. The smell of cinnamon on the stove going through out the house. These are just a few of my favorite things.

What are somethings that you will do today that has been forgotten and put on a shelf?

Love all of you and wish you a Merry Christmas.
