Trucker's life

My son is a truck driver who hauls granite all over the United States. I knew trucking is very dangerous, because of the weight that's packed on.  I just didn 't know how involved the process was. I had a chance to go with him Sunday to pick up his load for the following week. I thought to myself, it won't take but about thirty minutes. Wrong!

Go by his boss and pic up the papers for the next few days. Then you have to park  his truck down there and leave it. Next is  to pick up the big rig and go to where the load of granite is. I did not know there were so many granite places.

Hook the truck up and strap the granite down. Check the tires. Time to take it to the house. Whew! All in a days work. Way over the thirty minutes I thought  it would take. So, when you're out on the road have respect for the truck drivers, you have no idea what they do through to get us the things we need every day. Love you son, and I am very proud of you. You're an awesome provider for your family.
