I had bunion surgery back in July. I have had more pain with this one. I went back 3 months ago and one of the screws is coming out. I went back again this past week, and the screw has backed out a little bit more. I will be having surgery soon to take the hardware out. Sometimes this happens. My foot is healed so that is a good thing. Not the way I wanted to start 2023, but things happen, and they have to be dealt with.
February 20th, 2023, the hardware was taken out. I am home. Recovery is about three weeks. I had 2 screws that were backing out of the hardware. Go figure I had to be the one that had botched screws.
I hate that I had to have surgery again, but it's not the end of the world. A little down time and then back to work I'll go. I am glad I had the surgery. No more crooked feet. If you need it done, get it done. It will be worth it.
So, today is March 10, 2023, I was released to go back to work this past Monday. I worked for 3 hours and did good. Some say, the surgery is to rough, I say, it was not to bad. Surgery is surgery. It was worth it. Now, I can fit into most shoes without holes being put in them by my feet. If you have bunions, you know what I'm talking about. Have a blessed day and enjoy every day.
It's been over a year since I had my last bunion surgery. The pain I was having under the big toe is gone completely. The pain was so worth have the surgery to correct both feet. Don't hesitate to have it done. I can wear shoes that don't hurt my feet.
