Time to Wake Up

When I wake up every morning, first thing I do is head for the coffee pot. This morning was no different. You know the drill with coffee. Water, filter, and then coffee. I put it on and go about doing my business in the morning. After a bit, I decided it's time for a cup. I head in to the kitchen only to find--water everywhere. Coffee everywhere. Guess what? I forgot to put the glass coffee pot under the spout. Oh my! What a mess I had. I thought to myself~ Is it Monday? No!

It's just me half asleep. Now I had begun to get irritated by now. So, let's try this again. I made another small mess again. As they say the third time is a charm. By this time I was awake without the coffee. Ha! Ha! on me. I thought you would enjoy this on the fine Tuesday morning. Wishing all of you a super day. Mine is going to get better.

My Daughter

My sweet daughter who this past weekend graduated with honors and a BS in Corporate Communications.
For her senior project she did a twelve page magazine called (Focus), it was about people with disabilities who go on to live a normal life, in spite of the odds. She wanted the magazine to focus on their abilities, not their disabilities. It was a hit. She got a 97 on the project. Woo Hoo! I was one proud mama. She went five years in college to get her degree. Of course we had to fight with everything in us. You must be a fighter to succeed at anything in your life.

The Perfect Gift

Christmas time was so fun this year. I have a grandson that is almost two and to him everything is new. It was so awesome to watch as he is learning about everything. I wanted to get him something special this year that he would really love. I looked and looked for weeks before Christmas. Finally, one day I went into this tractor supply store and I found it. A international tractor. Almost like one his paw paw had.

So, I fixed it in a bag and put paper in it and a new pair of hiking boots for him. You should have seen his little eyes light up when he got a glimpse of the little red tractor. It was a special gift. He took that tractor everywhere for a few days. Now he keeps it at home and plays with it everyday. I couldn't have given him a better gift.
 Love my grandbaby
