24 Months

27 months

29 months
My, my time has flown since my little man could not speak at all. He is forming his sentences well. He lets you know when he wants, or doesn't want something. It's amazing at what they remember before they ever begin to talk. 
Papa got stuck, daddy and pa pa gone, I wanna go to Gram's house, I asked him, "whose little fellow are you?" and his reply was, "mommy's" and daddy's."

2 1/2 years

3 years What you saying Gram? I wanna stay with chu(you).
7-22-2014~ Mason went to my mom and dad's Vacation Bible School. Last night they have prayer time and he requested prayer for Auntie M. Tonight at bible school he asked for prayer for me, his gram. I thought this was so awesome. At 3 yrs old he is learning to pray for people. How many three year olds that you know will do that.

The Perfect Gift

Christmas time was so fun this year. I have a grandson that is almost two and to him everything is new. It was so awesome to watch as he is learning about everything. I wanted to get him something special this year that he would really love. I looked and looked for weeks before Christmas. Finally, one day I went into this tractor supply store and I found it. A international tractor. Almost like one his paw paw had.

 So, I fixed it in a bag and put paper in it and a new pair of hiking boots for him. You should have seen his little eyes light up when he got a glimpse of the little red tractor. It was a special gift. He took that tractor everywhere for a few days. Now he keeps it at home and plays with it everyday. I couldn't have given him a better gift.

The Note

I remember a particular time when I was a teenager. There was a ballgame at school, and I wanted to go so bad. One problem I faced was my dad. I was scared to ask him anything. Then I had an idea I would write him a note.

 My dad always got up early to go to work and so, the stove was the first place I knew he would come to. My fingers trembled as I wrote the note and laid it on the stove top. I could hardly sleep I just knew he would say yes and could hardly wait to get up in the morning.

I woke up bright and early and headed for the kitchen and picked the note up. To my surprise, the note was lying there just as I had left it. I quickly opened it anticipating the answer.  No answer. I was heartbroken.  How could he just not answer me?

My mom walked in the kitchen, and I said to her, “Did daddy not read the note?”

She said, “He did read it, but Daddy said that if you could not ask, it was not worth going to.”  I was stunned and mad for not asking him.

 Why had I been so scared to ask him? All he could have done was say yes or no. In my little mind I thought of him as a big bear and was scared he would bite me. In reality he was not, this was just the image I had. Rest assured I was never afraid to ask my daddy again.  I found out all he wanted was for me to ask. To take this a step further that’s all God wants us to do is ask.

Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, He will give it to you. What we ask must be in line with God's word. God wants us blessed spiritually, physically, and materially. Don't let the fear of asking keep you from attaining God's best for your life.

Little Conductor

This is my little man. How handsome he is to me. He dressed up to go trick or treat. Oh how I love him. He hasn't quite got my name yet. Gram is what I want it to be. My little conductor has just learned to walk and oh what a treat when he learns how to talk. You have to be fast when taking his pic cause he doesn't like a hat on his head. So this is what I got instead.

Eharmony Awareness

I got a call this morning concerning my bank account. I found out someone had a spending spree with my money. Come to find out they three transactions to FTD Florist, one transaction to Eharmony, and one more to a dating site.  When using a debit card online use it as a credit. It's the same thing just a little different process and a lot safer.
Be aware what you see is not always what you get. Whoever the flowers were sent to probably thinks they just met prince charming and instead they have a thief. Beware of hookups on any dating site. You have no clue what's on the other end. Anyone can charm you with their words, flowers, jewelry, etc... A real woman or man does not need to take from someone else which is not his or hers. Just imagine what they may take from you if they are doing this three or four different people at a time.
