Sneak peek of a hardcover book made with prom pictures I took.
You can never put a price tag on getting your pictures printed.
My daughter helped with designing the book.
Nothing takes the place of having the printed product in your hand.
I love looking at them whenever I want and they are great
Mother's Day, and Father's Day gifts to give to friends and family.
Shutterfly is really great about getting them to you on time.
Don't hesitate to put your prints in a book to be cherished for a lifetime.

Sliding
My sister's grandson had a birthday party. Everyone was there. Presents, cake, slides, and more. My grandson loves me to climb and slide with him. This day was no different. Up and down, Up and down.
I heard my someone tell me that my mama wanted to go up and I said, "We can do this."
She started up and came half way down. I said, "I thought you wanted to go up?" She said, "I know I did, but I don't think I can make it. I told her. that with my help she could So, up we go.
It was one more battle to get her all the way up. No handles to hold to. I took her hand and guided her up. She looked up at me and said, "Do you want me to have a heart attack? " I said, "No mama, you can do this. We joked, and I kept reassuring her that she would be fine.
Finally at the top she collapsed and said, "I did it!"
We all laughed. She was the one that wanted to go up.
She grew up hard. She lived in the mountains of North Carolina. Times were very hard. Things we take for granted she would have cherished in her day. Her parents never let her go to the fair, movie show, etc... Even at Christmas time she would get a pack of bobby pins and would be thrilled to get them.
To conquer the slide was a big thing to her on this day.
Mama came up and wanted to see the pictures. I told her, "She was scared and she said, "I wasn't scared" I said, "Mama I about had to push you up there. Lol! She was telling Madison that she was glad she done it. We had fun picking at her. She said, "I done good for a 75 year old woman," I said, "Yes, you did." She didn't get to do a lot of things when she was a kid. She is making up for lost time.

I am Free
When I was small
I could not call I kept it in,
and thought I'd win
Day after day Year after year
Things got worse I thought the torment would never end
Finally, one day my back against the wall
There's no turning back I knew I would fall
To say it was easy is far from the truth
But with each passing day I was breaking through
Truth is I could be free
This is what the Word says,
"I can have what I say" If only I believe
I chose to believe what the words said about me
It's not just for me
You can walk free
I could not call I kept it in,
and thought I'd win
Day after day Year after year
Things got worse I thought the torment would never end
Finally, one day my back against the wall
There's no turning back I knew I would fall
To say it was easy is far from the truth
But with each passing day I was breaking through
Truth is I could be free
This is what the Word says,
"I can have what I say" If only I believe
I chose to believe what the words said about me
It's not just for me
You can walk free

Ice storm~2015
We had a snow storm in Georgia last week. Very unusual for us. Trees down, power off for days, roads bare, due to the scare people get from driving on ice.
There is beauty in ice. I captured this while walking outside. My daughter said, "It looked like the alphabet at times." I just love the beauty it made when I captured it in time.

Ready
Ready, set, go! The race is on between cousins. These two little fellows have grown up together. From riding, golf carts. four wheeler, swimming pool, tractors, and playing in the mud together. One in Pre k, the other in Pre-school they have learned fighting is not the answer. Sharing is.
The other day they decided to have a race from the tree to papa's trailer. What fun they had. Over and over they raced and raced. I love watching them grow and learn how to interact with each other.
Each having their own personality. They spur each other on. I love it! As they continue to grow, and mature I pray they will always have the bond they share now.

Christmas
Christmas 2014~ Breakfast at my daddy's. Daddy and Mama have been hosting the Christmas Breakfast for years. He loves to give to the community. We had a great time with many coming from all over. Family is so important even if you have differences, and with family you know differences are there. Can you humble yourself long enough to eat a meal and just mingle with other people in your family. I have not always got along with people in my family, but as God changes your heart you see there is more people beside you in the world. Imagine that.
It's time to put our differences aside and quit letting the enemy of this world destroy our families. I love each one who takes the time to read my blog. I pray that your eyes will be open to see others as God sees them.
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
