Reflections

Take a minute to reflect on where God has brought you from to where you are now. Whatever we go through it is not just for us--someone else needs to know they can make it, too. God can take our mess and turn it into something Beautiful.

Second Chances

I was watching awhile back about second chances I was thinking to myself that would be neat to go back and make things right. I finished watching the movie and as I was walking back to the bathroom the Holy Spirt told me You are getting a second chance (think on that awhile) I thought you know that's right when we are born again things don't have to stay the way they have always been. In Christ all things are new everyday if we so choose them --- it is our choice. How cool is that.

Not what it seems

After almost 2 yrs. my air conditioner in my car is fixed. yah. I had work done on it last yr. and it never fazed it. So I decided to take it somewhere else. I called back later on to see if it was ready. The mechanic said yes, but we had to order this little part.--I thought uh oh when a mechanic says that I usually think $ lol
Anyway come to find out it was not the freon that goes into the air conditioner. It was on the inside of the car.-----The knob was broken just enough to keep it from going over to colder. So now I have my cool air. Hurray

Typical

It is a beautitful day in Georgia. My daughter is on Spring Break this week, so I get to go in early. Work is ok today. Burning papers and recycling. If you haven't been out today --Get Out it is way to pretty to be cooped up.Back at cha later.

Try out these new wheels.

I will be taking my daughter back to Atl. tomorrow. She is going to try out this custom made wheelchair. Get this it has batteries in the wheels. Yes, you heard me right. As my daughter gives it a push with her hands--it sort of self propels its self. How cool is that. Anyway I will post pics up alittle later.

I know! I know! I haven't been on for awhile --Oh well, you know how it is when your just busy busy. Just wanted to update on my dog. She has been treated for heartworms. Finally the last shots were given last week. My dog looks wonderful and now. I can say she is finally better. So if your pet has been diagnosed with heartworms there is hope. Here is a picture I just took of her.

Save Your Dog

I have a 4 yr. old white husky. She's had 2 sets of puppies. She has always been so playful and full of energy, recently all of her fur started coming off of her chest. I took her to the vet--the vet gave her some antibiotics and spray. Precious started feeling better. Last week she really looked very bad and had no energy so I called the vet back and then took her in the following day. Tests, tests, tests. If your like me I have had all kinds of dogs and never given them any kind of heart worm medicine. So all this was foreign to me. No walking her till we get this cleared up --you may be asking --how long will that take?--2 or 3 months. I am writing this in hopes no one else will have to go through what I have with my dog.

Heart worms are a parasite transmitted by mosquitoes or fleas, that get in the bloodstream, esp. in the heart of dogs, and cats.

Some of the symptoms are:

vomiting

dirreha

losing weight

cough
